Due to resurfacing works taking place on Blackburn Road, services are on diversion.

Services to Bolton will divert via Waters Meeting Road. Services from Bolton will follow their normal route, however, all bus stops along Blackburn Road within the works area will be closed.

Due to resurfacing works taking place on Blackburn Road, bus services are operating on diversion. Overnight works will take place between 6.30pm and 6.30am the following day, Monday to Friday only.

Services towards Bolton only will divert via Blackburn Road, Moss Bank Way, Halliwell Road and Blackburn Road. Services from Bolton will take their normal route.

Ashworth Lane, Bolton - Bus Stop Closure

Saturday 14 – Monday 23 February 2026

The bus stops on Ashworth Lane, at the junction of Prestbury Road, Eleanor Street and Thornham Drive are closed due to works taking place.

Customers should board and alight at stops before or after Hill Cot Road and Hathaway Drive.
