Lower Bridge Street Closure, Chester
Monday 23 September–Sunday 20 October 2024
Due to the closure of Lower Bridge Street, Service 16 & 61 will not be able to serve Handbridge inbound or outbound from the 23rd of September for up to 4 weeks.
Service 61 will not serve Handbridge at all.
Service 62 will serve the Handbridge estates but only twice per day each way Monday-Friday. Otherwise, Handbridge will NOT be served and your closest stops will be Lache Lane for the 61/62 or Hough Green for the 16.
The trips which will serve Handbridge are as follows:
09:30 from Higher Kinnerton
10:38 from Dodleston
11:15 from Chester
12:45 from Chester
These buses will run as normal around Handbridge but will divert over the Grosvenor Bridge instead of Old Dee Bridge.
