From Queen Square Bus Station as normal to Lime Street, then continue onto Commutation Row, then onto Islington, then continue onto New Islington, then right on New Islington, continue along New Islington, then right onto Moss Street, continue along Moss Street, continue onto Daulby Street, then left onto Pembroke Place, then resume normal route to Halewood. (Omits London Road and a section of Pembroke Place).
From Halewood as normal to Grove Street, then continue onto Low Hill, then left onto Prescot Street, continue along Prescot Street, then, right onto Moss Street, then left onto Islington, then left onto Commutation Row, then continue onto Lime Street, then resume normal route to Queen Square Bus Station/Liverpool One Bus Station. (Omits West Derby Street, Pembroke Place and London Road).
