870 Prescot Road / Orleans Road - Ellis Ashton Street / Brickfields

Stretton Way will be closed at Wilson Road, from Monday 20 July 2026 for approximately 10 weeks.

From Old Swan will travel as normal to Wilson Road, then via Link Road to Ellis Ashton Street/Brickfields (omitting a section of Wilson Road, Stretton Way and a section of Ellis Ashton Street).

Stockbridge Lane will be closed between 08:00 until 17:00 from the junction of Liverpool Road to the junction of Waterpark Drive on Tuesday 21st July 2026 until Friday 24th July 2026, and then again on Monday 27th July 2026 until Saturday 1st August 2026.

Service 870 will operate as normal from Old Swan to East Prescot Road this service will continue on Liverpool Road, then via Seth Powell Way to Woolfall Heath Avenue, then resume normal route to Huyton Industrial Estate (omitting Stockbridge Lane, Heath Road, and a section of Woolfall Heath Avenue).
Alternative stops: Liverpool Road, near Princess Drive; and Woolfall Heath Avenue, opposite Pennard Avenue.
