Yellow Line Piccadilly - Bury

On Sunday 26 April, from the start of service until 10am, no trams will operate through Victoria. During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square and services from Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.

On Sunday 10 May, from the start of service, track repair works will take place near Victoria until 10am. During this time, no trams will operate through Victoria. The Rochdale line will also undergo improvements work until 11am. During this time, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. There will be further service changes on the Bury, East Didsbury and Manchester Airport lines.

From Monday 25 to Friday 29 May, improvement works will take place at Piccadilly Gardens. During this time, no trams will operate between St Peter's Square/Market Street and Piccadilly. There will be service changes on the Ashton-under-Lyne, Eccles, East Didsbury, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or use the free bus to continue their journeys.

From Monday 1 to Tuesday 9 June, improvement works will take place in the city centre. During this time, no trams will operate via Shudehill or Market Street. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or use the free bus to continue their journeys.

Due to a tram fault there is no service between Piccadilly and Market Street.
Services will operate Bury - Victoria and Ashton - Piccadilly.
Customers can use tickets and passes on the Bespoke Metrolink buses and also BeeNetwork bus 135, for connections between Piccadilly - Victoria.

To support participants and spectators attending the Manchester Marathon 2026, tram service changes will be in place on the day. The Trafford Centre line will operate to Crumpsall and the Manchester Airport line will operate to Deansgate-Castlefield. Tram services will also run between Altrincham - Victoria, and Altrincham - Etihad Campus, providing a 7.5 minute frequency between the city centre and Altrincham.

Due to protest activity in the city centre, we have no services operating between Deansgate Castlefield, Exchange Square, Victoria, and Piccadilly. Passengers can use their tickets on Bee Network Buses in Greater Manchester.
