Higher Crumpsall, opposite Crumpsall Vale

Due to heavy congestion in Rusholme, causing lengthy delays to the 41 and 53 bus services, they will be diverting from 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings until end of service. This will be in place until further notice.

53 bus services will be diverting via Dickenson Road, Anson Road, Upper Brook Street, Upper Brook Street East and Booth Street West. Passengers are advised to visit the bus operator's website for live bus information.

Manchester City Council have sent an emergency notice closing Ash Tree Road, Crumpsall in both directions, between its junction with Crescent Road until its junction with Crumpsall Lane. The closure is in place until works are complete.

Customers travelling on these services may experience a delay to their journey due to a road closure in place.

Oxford Road from Dover Street to Ackers Street is closed to facilitate a crane lift.

Services will follow normal route to Oxford Road and will divert via Booth Street East, Upper Brook Street, Grafton Street and Oxford Road in both directions.

To mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Manchester Caribbean Festival two parades will be taking place in and around the Moss Side and Hulme areas, centred in and around Alexandra Park on Saturday 13 August between 7am & 9am and 12pm & 2.30pm.

Services affected: 15, 44, 53, 85, 85A, 86, 101, 103, 111, 250, 256 & 263

Operators of the affected routes may have to implement emergency diversions around the affected roads and affected routes may incur delays at specific times while the events are taking place.

Please check with the operator before you travel and allow more time for your journey.

On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August there will be no access to NMGH via Charminster Drive.
