Pimbo Road will be closed, between Crank Road and Fir Tree Farm, from Monday 19 October 2026 for approximately 7 weeks.

From Rainford Rail Station will travel as normal to Red Cat Lane, then via Gores Lane, then as normal route to Ashton Town Centre (omitting a section of Red Cat Lane, Crank Road, Pimbo Road and Fir Tree Close).
This service will call at the stops on Higher Lane, near Red Cat Lane; and Rainford Road, near Braeside Crescent.
From Ashton Town Centre will travel as normal to Back Lane, then continue via Red Cat Lane, then as normal route to Rainford Rail Station (omitting a section of Red Cat Lane, Crank Road, Pimbo Road and Fir Tree Close).
This service will call at the stops on Rainford Road, near Beulah Road; and Red Cat Lane, near Back Lane.
