The roundabout at the junction of Bedford Avenue, Bedford Drive and Bebington Road will be closed from Monday 20th July 2026 until Friday 7th August 2026.
Service 418 will operate as normal from Birkenhead Bus Station via Arrowe Park to Prenton, Mount Road, then via The Wiend, Borough Road, Kings Road, Kings Lane to Old Chester Road and resume normal route to New Ferry, Shorefields (omitting Bedford Drive, Bedford Avenue, a section of Old Chester Road).
Alternative stops: Mount Road, near Borough Road; and Old Chester Road, near Woodland Road.
will operate as normal from New Ferry, Shorefields to Bebington, Old Chester Road, then via Kings Lane, Kings Road, Borough Road to Mount Road and resume normal route to Birkenhead Bus Station (omitting a section of Old Chester Road, Bedford Avenue, Bedford Drive, and a section of Mount Road).
