The roundabout at the junction of Bedford Avenue, Bedford Drive and Bebington Road will be closed from Monday 20th July 2026 until Friday 28th August 2026.

will operate as normal from Birkenhead Bus Station via Arrowe Park to Prenton, Mount Road, then via The Wiend, Borough Road, Kings Road, Kings Lane to Old Chester Road and resume normal route to New Ferry, Shorefields (omitting Bedford Drive, Bedford Avenue, a section of Old Chester Road).
Alternative stops: Mount Road, near Borough Road; and Old Chester Road, near Woodland Road.
will operate as normal from New Ferry, Shorefields to Bebington, Old Chester Road, then via Kings Lane, Kings Road, Borough Road to Mount Road and resume normal route to Birkenhead Bus Station (omitting a section of Old Chester Road, Bedford Avenue, Bedford Drive, and a section of Mount Road).
Alternative stops: Old Chester Road, near Kings Lane; and Mount Road, near Borough Road.

Bedford Drive will be closed, between Mount Road and Bebington Road, from Wednesday 12 August 2026 for approximately 9 nights, between 1900 and Midnight each night (excluding Weekends).

From Birkenhead Bus Station will travel as normal to Mount Road, then via Mount Road, Bebington Road to Bedford Avenue, then as normal route to New Ferry (omitting Bedford Drive).
This service will call at the stops on Mount Road, near Ben Nevis Road; and Bedford Avenue, near Clarke Avenue.
From New Ferry will travel as normal to Bedford Avenue, then via Bebington Road, Mount Road to Mount Road, then as normal route to Birkenhead, Laird Street (omitting Bedford Drive).
This service will call at the stops on Bedford Avenue, opposite Albany Road; and Mount Road, near Cheviot Road.
