Allport Lane will be closed, between Ambleside Close and The Rake, between 1900 and Midnight each night, from Thursday 23 July 2026, for approximately 3 weeks excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

Services 38 and 38A

From West Kirby will travel as normal to Bromborough Village Road, then continue via Bromborough Village Road, New Chester Road to Allport Road, then as normal route to Mill Park (omitting The Cross, The Rake, Mark Rake, Palatine Road, Ecclestone Avenue, Beechwood Road, Acre Lane and Allport Lane).
These services will call at the stops on Spital Road, opposite Stanhope Drive; and Allport Road, opposite Brancote Gardens.
From Mill Park will travel as normal to Allport Road, then continue via Allport Road, New Chester Road to Bromborough Village Road, then as normal route to West Kirby (omitting Allport Lane, Acre Lane, Beechwood Road, Ecclestone Avenue, Palatine Road, Mark Rake, The Rake and The Cross).
These services will call at the stops on Allport Road, near Brancote Gardens; and Bromborough Village Road, Bromborough Village.
