Queens Drive will be closed in various phases on Monday 3 August and Monday 10 August 2026, between 0800 and 1615 each day. Due to the type of work involved the closures it will be on a rolling phase basis.

• 60 – will be as normal route to St Oswald Street, then via Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Muirhead Avenue, Queens Drive, then as normal route.
Alternative bus stop: St Oswalds Street, near Davidson Road and Queens Drive, near Muirhead Avenue.

• 81/81A – will be as normal route to The Rocket, Broad Green Road, Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Muirhead Avenue, Queens Drive.
Alternative bus stop: Broadgreen interchange, Queens Drive, near Broadgreen Road, stop E and East Prescot Road, near Chatterton Road.

• 81/81A – will be as normal route to The Rocket, then via Broad Green Road, Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Muirhead Avenue, Queens Drive.
Alternative bus stop: Broadgreen interchange, Queens Drive, near Broadgreen Road, stop E and East Prescot Road, near Chatterton Road.
• 81/81A – will be as normal route to The Rocket, Broad Green Road, Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Muirhead Avenue, Queens Drive.

• 60/81/81A – will be as normal routes to Queens Drive, then via Townsend Avenue, Strawberry Road, Parthenon Drive. Walton Hall Avenue, Queens Drive, then as normal routes.
Alternative bus stop: Queens Drive, opposite Monash Road and Queens Drive, opposite Haggerston Road.

Queens Drive will be closed Northbound, between Townsend Avenue and Walton Hall Avenue, on Thursday 13 August 2026 for approximately 1 night, between 2000 and 0600 the next day.

Services 60, 81 and 81A

From Aigburth, Speke and Liverpool John Lennon Airport will travel as normal to Queens Drive, then via Townsend Avenue, Strawberry Road, Parthenon Drive, Walton Hall Avenue to Queens Drive, then as normal route to Bootle Bus Station (omitting a section of Queens Drive).
These services will call at the stops on Queens Drive, opposite Monash Road; and Queens Drive, opposite Haggerston Road.
