Queens Drive (multiple phases)

Queens Drive will be closed in various phases on Monday 3 August and Monday 10 August 2026, between 0800 and 1615 each day. Due to the type of work involved the closures it will be on a rolling phase basis.
• 60 – will be as normal route to St Oswald Street, then via Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Muirhead Avenue, Queens Drive, then as normal route.
Alternative bus stop: St Oswalds Street, near Davidson Road and Queens Drive, near Muirhead Avenue.
• 81/81A – will be as normal route to The Rocket, Broad Green Road, Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Muirhead Avenue, Queens Drive.
Alternative bus stop: Broadgreen interchange, Queens Drive, near Broadgreen Road, stop E and East Prescot Road, near Chatterton Road.
• 81/81A – will be as normal route to The Rocket, then via Broad Green Road, Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Muirhead Avenue, Queens Drive.
Alternative bus stop: Broadgreen interchange, Queens Drive, near Broadgreen Road, stop E and East Prescot Road, near Chatterton Road.

Queens Drive, between Walton Hall Avenue and Townsend Avenue, will be closed on Friday 14 August 2026 for approximately 1 night, between 2000 and 0600 the next day.
Service 60, 81 and 81A
• From Bootle will be as normal route to Queens Drive, then via Walton Hall Avenue, Parthenon Drive, Strawberry Road, Townsend Avenue, Queens Drive, then as normal route to Aigburth Vale. (Omits a section Queens Drive).
Alternative bus stop: Queens Drive, near Haggerston Road and Queens Drive, near Lowerson Road.
• From Aigburth/Speke/John Lennon Airport will be unaffected.
