Service 144 will not serve Field Lane/Appleton Road due to anti-social behaviour from Tuesday 20 January 2026, between 1630 and midnight for approximately 6 days.

• From Bootle will be as normal route to Hawthorne Road, then via Sefton Road, Gorsey Lane, then as normal route to Pendle. (Omits a section of Sefton Road, Field Lane, Appleton Road, Kirkstone Road West and Ford Lane).
Alternative bus stop: Hawthorne Road/opposite Marina Avenue and Pendle Drive/Bowland Drive.
• From Pendle Drive will be as normal route to Hatton Hill Road, then continue via Hatton Hill Road, Hawthorne Road, then as normal route to Bootle. (Omits Ford Lane, Kirkstone Road West, Appleton Road, Field Lane and a section of Sefton Road).
Alternative bus stop: Hatton Hill Road/Sonning Avenue and Hawthorne Road/Marina Avenue.
