Alternative bus stop: Botanic Road, off Botanic Road and Roe Lane, near Grange Avenue.

• From Ainsdale will be as normal route to Roe Lane, then via Park Avenue, Cambridge Road, then as normal route to Crossens. (Omits a section of Roe Lane, Mill Lane and Manor Road).
