Southport, adjacent to Park Road

Albert Road will be closed between Leicester Street and Leyland Road from Monday 30 March 2026 for approximately 4 days.

Services 2, X2, 47 and 347
• From Southport and Liverpool will operate as normal to Lord Street, then via Leicester Street, The Promenade, Park Road West to Albert Road, then as normal routes to Preston, Crossens and Chorley (omitting a section of Albert Road).
These services will call at Lord Street, near Leicester Street and Albert Road, near Hesketh Park.
• From Preston, Crossens and Chorley will operate as normal to Albert Road, then via Park Road West, The Promenade, Leicester Street to Lord Street, then as normal routes to Southport and Liverpool (omitting a section of Albert Road).
These services will call at Albert Road, near Hesketh Park and Lord Street, near Union Street.
