188 Belle Vale Bus Station - Belle Vale Bus Station

Due to ongoing works on Baileys Lane, services 79, 166 and 188 will be on diversion from Friday 17 April 2026 until further notice.

Service 188
• From Belle Vale will operate as normal via Gateacre Village, Woolton, Garston, Liverpool South Parkway to Leathers Lane, then via Wood Road, Hollies Road to Church Road, then as normal route to Belle Vale (omitting a section of Leathers Lane, Baileys Lane and a section of Church Road).
This service will call at Halewood Shopping Centre, Stop C and Okell Drive, near Helston Avenue.

Arriva services 81, 166 and 188; and service 168 toward Liverpool South Parkway will not serve Speke Hall Road, from Monday 15 June 2026 until further notice.

Service 188

• From Belle Vale will be as normal route to Speke Road, then via Speke Boulevard, Woodend Avenue, Hillfoot Avenue, then as ormal route to Belle Vale. (Omits Speke Hall Road and Hillfoot Avenue).
Alternative bus stop: Speke Road, near Speke Hall Avenue and Hunts Cross Interchange, Hillfoot Avenue, near Speke Road, stop C.

Speke Road/Speke Boulevard will be closed, Eastbound between Estuary Boulevard and Evans Road, between 2000 and 0600 each night on Monday 22, Tuesday 23, Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 June 2026.

Service 188

From Belle Vale will travel as normal to Speke Road, then via Estuary Boulevard, Estuary Banks, Speke Hall Avenue, Dunlop Road, Western Avenue, Woodend Avenue to Hillfoot Avenue, then as normal route to Belle Vale (omitting a section of Speke Road, Speke Hall Road and a section of Hillfoot Avenue).
This service will call at the stops on Speke Road, opposite Estuary Boulevard; and Hunts Cross Interchange, Hillfoot Avenue, near Speke Road, Stop C.

Caldway Drive, between Naylors Road and Netherley Road, will be closed from Monday 22 June 2026 for approximately 5 days, between 0730 and 1700.

Service 188

• From Belle Vale Bus Station will be as normal route to Wood Lane, then via left into Caldway Drive, Childwall Valley Road, then as normal route to Belle Vale Bus Station. (Omits a section of Caldway Drive and Garden Lodge Grove).
Alternative bus stop: Wood Lane, near Glebe Hey and Childwall Valley Road, near Runton Road.

Besford Road will be closed from Thursday 25 June 2026 for approximately 2 nights, between 2000 and 0300 each night.

Service 188

• From Belle Vale Bus Station will be via right onto Hedgefield Road, Childwall Valley Road, Belle Vale Road, then as normal route to Halewood / Belle Vale Bus Station. (Omits Besford Road).
Alternative bus stop: Belle Vale Road, near Jones Farm Road.
