Besford Road will be closed from Thursday 2 July 2026 for approximately 2 nights, between 2000 and 0300 each night.

• From Commencement Point will be as normal route to Childwall Valley Road, then via Belle Vale Road, then as normal route to Halewood (3 / 3A / 217 / 217A) and Liverpool John Lennon Airport (89). (Omits a section of Childwall Valley Road, a section of a Hedgefield Road, Belle Vale Bus Station and Besford Road.
Alternative bus stop: Childwall Valley Road, near Runton Road and Belle Vale Road, near Jones Farm Road.

• From Liverpool John Lennon Airport (89) and Halewood (3 / 3A / 217 / 217A) will be as normal route to Belle Vale Road, then continue via Belle Vale Road, Childwall Valley Road, then as normal route to Destination Point. (Omits Besford Road and a section of a Hedgefield Road, Belle Vale Bus Station and a section of Childwall Valley Road).
Alternative bus stop: Belle Vale Road, opposite Jones Farm Road and Childwall Valley Road, opposite Runton Road.

• From Belle Vale Bus Station will be via right onto Hedgefield Road, Childwall Valley Road, Belle Vale Road, then as normal route to Halewood / Belle Vale Bus Station. (Omits Besford Road).
