248 Huyton Bus Station - Prescot Bus Station

From Wednesday 15th October 2025 until further notice service 248 (Evenings) will be diverted away from serving Saunders Avenue and Molyneux Drive due to incidents of anti-social behavior.

Service 248

will travel as normal from Huyton Bus Station to Cross Lane then via Cross Lane, Thomas Drive, Shaw Lane to Fazakerley Road and resume normal route to Prescot Bus Station (omitting Saunders Avenue).
Alternative stops; Cross Lane opposite Saunders Avenue and; Fazakerley Road near Kingsway.
will travel as normal from Prescot Bus Station to Fazakerley Road then via Shaw Lane, Thomas Drive to Cross Lane and resume normal route to Huyton Bus Station (ommiting a section of Saunders Avenue and Molyneux Drive).
Alternative stops; Fazakerley Road near Kingsway and; Cross Lane near Saunders Avenue.

Wood Lane will be closed between No. 45 Wood Lane to The Crescent from Wednesday 12 November 2025 for approximately 11 days, between 0800 and 1700 each day.

Service 248
• From Huyton Bus Station will operate as normal route to Hall Lane, then via Longview Drive, The Crescent to Wood Lane, then as normal route to Prescot Bus Station (Omits a section of Wood Lane).
Alternative bus stops: Hall Lane, Poplar Way and Wood Lane, Whiston Lane.
• From Prescot Bus Station will operate as normal route to Wood Lane, then via The Crescent, Longview Drive to Hall Lane, then as normal route to Huyton Bus Station (Omits a section of Wood Lane).
Alternative bus stops: Pottery Lane, Dales Row and Hall Lane, Quarry Gardens.
