248 - Huyton Bus Station - Prescot Bus Station

A bus service operated by Huyton Travel

Molyneux Drive (Prescot)

Service 248 will not serve Molyneux Drive from Tuesday 10 September until further notice after 1800 hours due to operational reasons.

Service 248

From Prescot Bus Station will be as normal route to Fazakerley Road then via right into Shaw Lane, Thomas Drive, Cross Lane then as normal route to Huyton Bus Station. (Omits a section of Saunders Avenue and Molyneux Drive).
From Huyton Bus Station is unaffected.

Pottery Lane (Whiston)

Sunday 22 September–Monday 21 October 2024

Pottery Lane will be closed between Doulton Place and Greenes Road from Monday 23 September 2024 for approximately 29 days

• From Huyton will operate as normal route to Hall Lane, then via The Crescent, Longview Drive, Huyton Lane, Liverpool Road, Derby Street, High Street, Warrington Road, Dragon Lane, then resume normal route to Prescot. (Omits Wood Lane, Pottery Lane, Greenes Road, Windy Arbor Road, Lickers Lane, Cumber Lane, and Stoney Lane).
• From Prescot will as normal to Windy Arbor Road, then via Dragon Lane, Cross Lane, Hall Lane, to left Manchester Road, Cables Way, Carr Lane, Huyton Lane, Longview Drive, The Crescent, Hall Lane, then resume normal route to Huyton. (Omits Greenes Road, Pottery Lane and Wood Lane).

Service 248 AM journeys
• From Huyton will operate as normal route via Wilson Road, Stretton Way, Ellis Ashton Street to Link Road, then via Wilson Road, Cronton Road to Tarbock Island, then via Windy Arbor Road to right Lickers Lane and resume normal route to Prescot. (Omits a section of Wilson Road, Hall Lane, Wood Lane, Pottery Lane, Greenes Road and Windy Arbor Road).
• From Prescot will operate as normal route to Windy Arbor Road, then via Dragon Lane, Cross Lane, Hall Lane, Manchester Road, Cables Way, Carr Lane, Huyton Lane, Longview Drive, The Crescent, Hall Lane, then resume normal route to Huyton. (Omits Greenes Road, Pottery Lane and Wood Lane).
