Lickers Lane will be closed from 08:00 hrs until 18:00 hrs from the junction of Windy Arbour Road to the junction of Fox’s Bank Lane on Saturday 18th July 2026 until Sunday 19th July 2026.The closure is expected to be in place for 2 days.
Service 239 will operate as normal from Prescot to Cumber Lane, then via Milton Avenue, Dragon Lane to Greenes Road, then resume normal route to Broadgreen Hospital (omitting a section of Cumber Lane, Lickers Lane, and Windy Arbour Road).
Alternative stops: Cumber Lane, opposite Milton Avenue; and Pottery Lane, near Greenes Road.
will operate as normal from Broadgreen Hospital to Greenes Road, then via Dragon Lane, Milton Avenue to Cumber Lane, then resume normal route to Prescot (omitting Windy Arbour Road, Lickers Lane, and a section of Cumber Lane).

Service 248 will operate as normal from Huyton Bus Station to Greenes Road, then via Dragon Lane, Milton Avenue, Cumber Lane, then resume normal route to Prescot (omitting Windy Arbour Road, Lickers Lane, and a section of Cumber Lane).
