Walton Breck Road/Oakfield Road, between Sleepers Hill and Kemp Avenue (Eastbound only), will be closed from Monday 10 August 2026 for approximately 7 months due to regeneration works.

• From Liverpool ONE Bus Station will travel as normal route to Walton Breck Road but will not use the bus stops: 40055A (Walton Breck Road, opposite Liverpool Football Club); 40126A (Walton Breck Road, near Venice Street); and Walton Breck Road, near Burleigh Road North).
Alternative bus stop: Oakfield Road, near Little Heyes Street and Everton Valley, near St Domingo Road.

• From Liverpool ONE Bus Station will travel as normal route to Belmont Road, then via Breck Road, Breckfield Road North, Robson Street, Walton Breck Road, then as normal route to Liverpool One Bus Station.
Alternative bus stop: Belmont Road, near Breck Road; all bus stops on Breck Road; all bus stops on Breckfield Road North; all bus stops on Robson Street; and Everton Valley, near St Domingo Road.

The Strand, between James Street and Upper Parliament Street, will be closed from Monday 9 November 2026 for approximately 3 nights, between 2300 and 0600 each night.

Service 27

• From Liverpool One Bus Station will travel as normal route to Byrom Street, then via Old Haymarket, St Johns Lane, Lime Street, Ranelagh Street, Hanover Street to Liverpool One Bus Station. (Omits Dale Street, North John Street, Lord Street, James Street and Strand Street).
