5B Braniel - City Centre

The “Craic” 10K race event takes place on Tuesday 17th March 2026 and between 08:30 and 12:00. The race will start in Donegall Square North at 09:00 then proceed via Chichester Street, Victoria Street, May Street, Fisherwick Place, Queen Street, Castle Street, Divis Street, Falls Road, Grosvenor Road Great Victoria Street, Dublin Road, Botanic Avenue, Botanic Gardens, Stranmillis Embankment, Ormeau Road for finish in Ormeau Park.

During the race services are to operate as follows:

G1 services:
In Falls Road then via Millfield, Carrickhill, Frederick Street, Great Patrick Street, Oxford Street then as normal.
When race is in Victoria Street/May Street services will operate:
In Albertbridge Road, Short Strand, Bridge End, Ann Street, Victoria Street, Frederick Street, Clifton Street, Westlink, Donegal Road then as normal

 
G2 services:
In to Waterfront 
Out via Albertbridge, Short Strand, Bridge End & Station Street

7 Services:
Out from May Street, Adelaide Street, Ormeau Avenue, Ormeau Road, Ormeau Embankment, Ravenhill Road and Park Road then as normal.
In via Ormeau Road, Knockbreda Road, Mount Merrion Avenue, Cregagh Road, Albertbridge Road, East Bridge Street to May Street.
When race is in Victoria Street/May Street services will operate from Cromac Street.

East Belfast services (3,4,5&6):
In as normal to May Street.
Out via Adelaide Street, Ormeau Avenue, Cromac Street & East Bridge Street. Queens Bridge services will operate via Short Strand and Middlepath Street.
        When race is in Victoria Street/May Street services will operate In via Bridge End,       Anne Street, Victoria Street departing from Queens Square.

8 and 9 services:
In as normal to Great Victoria Street then via Hope Street.
Out via Sandy Row, Lisburn Road with 8a service via Elmwood Avenue then as normal

North Belfast services (Metro 1,2,13&14):
When Millfield is closed Antrim & Shore Road services will terminate at Royal Avenue & operate Out via North Street, Carrick Hill & Clifton Street/Frederick Street.

10 services:
In as normal to Divis Street
Out via Millfield, Carrick Hill, Clifton Street, Westlink, Donegal Road, Falls Road then as normal,

10x services:
In via M1, Donegal Road and Falls Road.

10k services:
In as normal to Falls Road then via Falls Road to Divis Street  
Out via Millfield, Shankill Road, Lanark Way, Springfield Road then as normal

Shankill Services (Metro 11&12) 
When Millfield is closed services should operate
In via Carrick Hill, Donegal Street and Royal Avenue
Out from North Street

City Airport Services (600) 
When Central Area is closed services via Europa Bus Lane Westlink and M3

On Tuesday 17th March 2026 there will be a St Patrick’s Day Parade starting at 13:30 at City Hall then via Chichester Street, Victoria Street, High Street, Castle Place, Donegal Place for finish at City Hall at 15:00

Diversions will be in place from approximately 12:30.

G1 West to East:
In as normal to Divis Street then via Millfield, Carrick Hill, Frederick Street, Dunbar Link, Oxford Street then as normal.

G2 Services:
In as normal to May Street.
Out via College Square East, Divis Street, Westlink, M3, Station Street then as normal

East Belfast services (3,4,5&6):
In as normal to May Street.
Out via Adelaide Street, Ormeau Avenue, Cromac Street, East Bridge Street then as normal.

3a/3f services:
Out via Albertbridge Road, Short Strand, Bridge End, Dalton Street, Middlepath Street then as normal.

8 & 9 services:
In via Bruce Street, Bedford Street.
Out as normal from Howard Street.

Antrim Road services (Metro 1)
In via Clifton Street, Carrick Hill, Millfield to Wellington Place.
Out via Queen Street, Millfield, Carrick Hill, Clifton Street then as normal.

Shore Road (Metro 2) services:
In as normal to Royal Avenue then via Millfield to Wellington Place.
Out via Queen Street, Millfield, Carrick Hill, Frederick Street, York Street then as normal

Shankill/Ligoniel/Carrs Glen (Metro 11 & 12) services
In via Clifton Street, Carrick Hill, Millfield to Wellington Place.
