Manchester Road will be closed on Tuesday 06 January 2026 from the junction of Beesley Road to the junction of Diffield Road. The closure is expected to be in place for one day only.
Service 99 from Whiston Station will operate as normal to Prescot Park Way then exit the estate by turning left onto Carr Lane, then via Huyton Lane, Liverpool Road, Derby Street, Church Street, Market Place, Sewell Street, turn at the roundabout back onto Sewell Street, then as normal route (omitting South Avenue and Manchester Road).
Alternative bus stops: Carr Lane/Huyton Lane and Sewell Street/Tesco.
