X60 Newport - Monmouth

Starting Monday 5 January 2026 for approximately three weeks, a section of road between Llanhennock Turn and Berllandeg will be closed on Mondays to Fridays between 09:30 & 15:30. As a result, there will be some changes to buses on route 60 as follows:

• Journeys departing Newport at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 & 15:00 will operate direct from Newport to Usk (Twyn Square). They will not serve Caerleon and Llangybi etc. Please note that on these journeys the next stop after Newport Bus Station will be Usk.

• Journeys departing Monmouth at 09:45, 11:06, 12:06, 13:06 & 14:06 will operate normal route to Usk then direct to Newport. They will not serve Llangybi and Caerleon etc

• A replacement service will operate to and from Usk and Newport. This bus will operate its normal route from Usk via Llangybi to Cwrt Bleddyn then via Llanhennock to Caerleon and onto Newport and vice-versa. When leaving From Newport it will operate from Market Square bus station stand 15A (the bus shelters between Friars Walk and Market Square bus stations).
