Aughton, by Springfield Road

A59 Northway will be closed from Kenyons Lane to Liverpool Road from Monday 1 December 2025, between 1900 and 0600 each night for approximately 3 weeks.

• From Liverpool will operate as normal route to Deyes Lane, then continue via Deyes Lane, School Lane, Maghull Lane to Prescot Road, then continue via Prescot Road, Town Green Lane to Winfred Lane, then resume normal route to Skelmersdale (Omits Northway, Springfield Road, Smithy Lane and Bold Lane).
Alternative bus stop: Deyes Lane, near Kendal Drive.
• From Skelmersdale will operate as normal route to Winfred Lane, then via Town Green Lane to Prescot Road, then continue via Prescot Road, Maghull Lane, School Lane to Deyes Lane, then continue via Deyes Lane and resume normal route to Liverpool (Omits Bold Lane, Smithy Lane, Springfield Road, Northway, Kenyons Lane, Dodds Lane and Moss Lane).
Alternative bus stop: Deyes Lane, near Eastway.
