Priory Road will be closed from Monday 21 October 2024 for approximately 3 months between Utting Avenue and the Priory Garage.

From Bootle will be as normal route to Spellow Lane then via right into Walton Lane to use the 1st Bus Stop on Walton Lane/Opposite Newby Street (bus stop no. 40119B) then via Anfield Road, Sleepers Hill, Walton Breck Road, Wylva Road, Arkles Lane to use the 1st Bus Stop on Arkles Lane/Anfield Road (bus stop no. 40056B), Arkles Lane, Priory Road then as normal route to Aigburth. (Omits a section of Walton Lane and a section of Priory Road).
From Aigburth will be as normal route to Priory Road then via Arkles Lane to use the 1st Bus Stop on Arkles Lane (bus stop no. 40057B), then via Arkles Lane, Arkles Road, Walton Breck Road, Sleepers Hill, Anfield Road, Walton Lane, Spellow Lane then as normal route to Bootle. (Omits a section of Priory Road and a section of Walton Lane).
