Various road closures will be in place during the Randox Grand National Meeting from Sunday 5 April until Monday 13 April 2026.

Service 300: Thursday/Friday until 2000 and Saturday until 2200

• From Liverpool will be as normal route to Aintree Road, then via Southport Road, Bailey Drive, Netherton Way, Dunnings Bridge Road to Switch Island then as normal route to Lydiate/Southport. (Omits Hornby Road, Rice Lane, Walton Vale, Warbreck Moor and Ormskirk Road).
Alternative bus stop: Aintree Road/Fernhill Road and Liverpool Road South/Northway.

• From Southport/Lydiate will be as normal route to Switch Island, then via Dunnings Bridge Road, Netherton Way, Bailey Drive, Southport Road, Aintree Road, then as normal route to Liverpool City Centre. (Omits Ormskirk Road, Warbreck Moor, Walton Vale, Rice Lane, and Hornby Road).
Alternative bus stop: Northway/Dover Road and Aintree Road/Fernhill Road.

Service 310: Thursday/Friday until 2000 and Saturday until 2200

• From Liverpool will be as normal route to Rice Lane, then via Hornby Road, Southport Road, Bailey Drive, Netherton Way, Dunnings Bridge Road to Switch Island, then as normal route to Skelmersdale. (Omits part of Rice Lane, Walton Vale, Warbreck Moor and Ormskirk Road).
Alternative bus stop: Aintree Road/Fernhill Road and Liverpool Road South/Northway.

• From Skelmersdale will be as normal route to Switch Island, then via Dunnings Bridge Road, Netherton Way, Bailey Drive, Southport Road, Hornby Road, Rice Lane, then as normal route to Liverpool City Centre. (Omits Ormskirk Road, Warbreck Moor, Walton Vale, part of Rice Lane).
Alternative bus stop: Liverpool Road South/Larchwood Avenue and Aintree Road/Fernhill Road.

Service 345: Thursday/Friday and Saturday until 1000

• From Liverpool will be as normal route to Rice Lane, then via Hornby Road, Southport Road, Bailey Drive, Netherton Way, Bridle Road, Park Lane, Ormskirk Road, then as normal route to Waddicar. (Omits Rice Lane, Walton Vale, and Warbreck Moor and Ormskirk Road).
Alternative bus stop: Rice Lane/Rawcliffe Road and Aintree Interchange/Ormskirk Road/stop B.

• From Waddicar will be as normal route to Ormskirk Road, then via Park Lane, Bridle Road, Netherton Way, Bailey Drive, Southport Road, Hornby Road, Rice Lane, then as normal route to Liverpool City Centre. (Omits Warbreck Moor, Walton Vale and a section of Rice Lane).
Alternative bus stop: Ormskirk Road/Brenka Avenue and Rice Lane/Fazakerley Road.

Service 345: Thursday/Friday from 1000 until 2000 and Saturday from 1000 until 2200

• From Liverpool will be as normal route to Walton Vale, then via Longmoor Lane, Aintree Lane, Wango Lane, Bull Bridge Lane, then as normal route Waddicar. (Omits Warbreck Moor, Ormskirk Road, Aintree Lane and Altway).
Alternative bus stop: Orrell Park Interchange/Rice Lane/Wasdale Road/stop D and Longmoor Lane/Warbreck Moor/stop A and Bull Bridge Lane/Altway.

• From Waddicar will be as normal route to Bull Bridge Lane, then via Wango Lane, Aintree Lane, Longmoor Lane, Walton Vale, then as normal route to Liverpool. (Omits Altway, Aintree Lane, Ormskirk Road, and Warbreck Moor).
Alternative bus stop: Spencers Lane/opposite Brewery Lane and Longmoor Lane/Solar Road/stop B and Walton Vale/Grace Road.
