Southport, adjacent to Portland Street

Walnut Street will be closed between Portland Street and Southbank Road from Monday 29 September 2025 for approximately 4 weeks.

Service 15A
• From Birkdale, Clive Road will operate as normal route to Southport, Ash Street, then onto Southbank Road and resume normal route to Southport Hospital, Town Lane, Kew. (omits Cemetery Road, Portland Street and Walnut Street).
Alternative bus stops: Ash Street, Scarisbrick New Road and Southbank Road, Falkland Road.

Portland Street will be closed between Cemetery Road and Chestnut Street from Monday 27 October 2025 for approximately 3 weeks.

Service 15A
• From Birkdale will operate as normal route to Cemetery Road, then onto Southbank Road, then continue via Southbank Road and resume normal route to Southport Hospital. (Omits a section of Cemetery Road, Portland Street and Walnut Street).
Alternative bus stops: Ash Street, Scarisbrick New Road and Southbank Road, Falkland Road.
• From Southport Hospital will operate as normal route to Southbank Road, then continue via Southbank Road to Cemetery Road, then resume normal route to Birkdale. (Omits Cedar Street, Portland Street and a section of Cemetery Road).
Alternative bus stops: Southbank Road, opposite Falkland Road and Sussex Road, St Luke's Road.
