With the start of the Royal Parade Bus Stop Improvement Scheme on Monday 2nd June, Services 1 / 1A / X1 will now be using Union Street 2 towards George P&R and Tavistock, and Derry Cross 3 towards Sherford, as a temp stop until completion of the works. Layovers that were to take place on Royal Parade will now be on Charles Street, so therefore a slight change to timetable is required.

There will be a minor route change to Service 1A within Plymstock, as part of a package of improvements to local bus services. Within Plymstock, between Dean Hill and Pomphlett Road, buses will now operate via Plymstock Road, Randwick Park Road, Foresters Road, Pomphlett Close and Pomphlett Gardens, before joining the current route on Pomphlett Road. Dean Cross Road and part of Pomphlett Road will no longer be served by Service 1A, however, this section of route will now be served by changes to the route of Service 2.

Service 1 / 1S / X1 Intermediate running times are revised on all days of operation to improve reliability and punctuality. Following working in partnership with Plymouth City Council, there will be a small change to the route of Service 1A. In Derriford buses will serve William Prance Road and Brest Road, as opposed to operating directly via Tavistock Road, which will provide improved access to local amenities in the area. Journeys towards Sherford will exit Derriford Hospital via Derriford Road, Derriford Roundabout and Brest Road to avoid ongoing congestion issues on Morlaix Drive.

Intermediate running times are revised on all days of operation to improve reliability and punctuality Journeys that operate between George Park and Ride and Plymouth City Centre will be extended to Sherford, following the current route of Service 2A between the City Centre and Sherford. The extension of journeys to Sherford will provide a new direct link between Sherford and Derriford Hospital up to every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime. Sherford to George Park and Ride journeys to operate as Service 1A X1. Morning duplicate journey will be withdrawn due to insufficient demand, and the PM departure time amended to 1535 as approved by both schools.
