140d Coleraine - Buscentre - Coleraine - Buscentre

The North West 200 Motorbike Race is taking place from Monday 4th May 2026, until Saturday 10th May 2026.

Due to road closures and diversions in the area during this time, the following Ulsterbus services will operate:

Monday 4th May 2026 until Saturday 10th May 2026:
The Bus Stop at the Metropole in Portrush will be suspended for all 140 services.

Express passengers arriving in Coleraine should use 140a and 140b services for onward travel to Portrush and Portstewart. Passengers travelling from Portrush and Portstewart to connect with Express services in Coleraine should allow sufficient time for their journey. Connections are not guaranteed.

During All Closures:
140c and 140d services will not operate during road closures.
140a Portstewart services will arrive and depart from Atlantic Circle.
140b Portrush services will operate via Gateside road to and from Dunluce Avenue.
Services will not operate between Portrush and Portstewart during road closures.

Wednesday 6th May 2026 and Thursday 7th May 2026 between 09:00 and 15:00- Service 140a to Portstewart terminates at Atlantic Circle

Saturday 9th May 2026 Roads Closed between 09:00 and 21:00-Service 140a to Portstewart terminates at Atlantic Circle.
Promenade times to Coleraine remain the same 23 past and 07 mins to the hour.
Service 140b to Portrush via Gateside terminates at Dunluce Avenue.
Return times to Coleraine will be 10 mins past and 20 mins to the hour.

Other services may be subject to disruption and delays.

Due to a band parade in Coleraine on the 24th April 2026 all 140 services will not serve the Rose Gardens bus stop after 19:30 

Services will operate via Artillery Road and Bushmills Road in both directions
