Utting Avenue, Walton will be closed from the junction of Queens Drive for a distance of 20m from Liverpool on Wednesday 10th December 2025, from 1900 until 0600. The closure is expected to be in place for 1 night.

Routes 17, 17A and 17X

will operate as normal routes from Liverpool to Utting Avenue, then via Queens Drive to Townsend Avenue, then as normal routes to Aintree University Hospital and Kirkby (omitting a section of Utting Avenue).
These services will call at the existing stops on Utting Avenue, Cherry Lane; and Townsend Avenue, Strawberry Road.
From Kirkby Admin (17A) / Fazakerley, Aintree University Hospital (17) as normal to Liverpool.
