Rivington Road will be closed, between Ainsworth Road and Trafalgar Street, from Tuesday 28 July 2026 for approximately 5 weeks.
Service 289
From St Helens will travel as normal to Duke Street, then via Boundary Road, Knowsley Road, Rivington Road, Hewitt Avenue, then as normal route to Kirkby (omitting Dentons Green Lane and Rivington Road).
This service will call at the stops on Boundary Road, near Duke Street; and Rivington Road, near Hewitt Avenue.
From Kirkby will travel as normal to Hewitt Avenue, then via Rivington Road, Knowsley Road, Boundary Road, Duke Street, then as normal route to St Helens (omitting Rivington Road, Greenfield Road and Dentons Green Lane).
This service will call at the stops on Rivington Road, near Boundary Street; and Duke Street, near Cowley Hill Lane.
