When Main Street closes:

Services 73, 95 & X3 from Rotherham will re-divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way & Ickles roundabout (73 & 95 services then Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road & Canklow Road). To Rotherham unaffected.

Services 137 and 138 towards Rotherham will turn left on Centenary Way, College Road Roundabout, then Bridge Street.
FROM Rotherham will divert via Chantry Bridge, Greasbrough Road & Centenary Way, then U turn back to Masbrough Street.

TO GET THERE:
Approx 5-10 min walk from Rotherham Interchange via Corporation Street and Main Street
Approx 5-10 walk from Rotherham Central, side of Canal, past Poolice station then onto Main Street

Ship Hill is temporarily closed due to roadworks until further notice

Services 19, 19a, 21, 73, 95, 95s, 114a, 137, 137a, 138, 207 and X3 is subject to a diversion

Services 73, 95 and 95s towards Rotherham to divert via Canklow Road, Old Sheffield Road, Sheffield Road, Ickles roundabout, Centenary Way, Collage Road roundabout and Bridge Street

First South Yorkshire services from Doncaster Depot will be affected by industrial action on 7, 22 & 24 April 2026.

Limited services will run and many journeys may be cancelled.

Because of Easter half‑term, school services are unaffected on 7 April. Further updates on possible impacts for 22 and 24 April will be provided closer to the dates.

City Road between Prince of Wales Road and Wulfric Road in the direction of Sheffield City Centre is temporarily closed for tram track maintenance works.

Blue and Purple route tram services are affected between Sheffield Station and Gleadless Townend, services are replaced by a dedicated bus replacement service BP1.
