When Main Street closes:

Services 73, 95 & X3 from Rotherham will re-divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way & Ickles roundabout (73 & 95 services then Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road & Canklow Road). To Rotherham unaffected.

Services 137 and 138 towards Rotherham will turn left on Centenary Way, College Road Roundabout, then Bridge Street.
FROM Rotherham will divert via Chantry Bridge, Greasbrough Road & Centenary Way, then U turn back to Masbrough Street.

TO GET THERE:
Approx 5-10 min walk from Rotherham Interchange via Corporation Street and Main Street
Approx 5-10 walk from Rotherham Central, side of Canal, past Poolice station then onto Main Street

Saturday 15 November 2025 Until Further Notice (At All Times)

Treeton Lane is flooded by a burst bank side on Treeton. Buses on services 71, 73 and 95 will be unable to serve Treeton.

Service 73 and 95 to divert straight along Main Street and Orgreave Road in both directions.

Service 71 to divert via Sheffield Road, Rotherham Road, Highfield Spring, Poplar Way, Europa Link and back to normal route from Europa Court in both directions.

Saturday 15 November until Further Notice (At All Times)

Temporary lights on the blind bend at the top of Whitehill Road have failed. Buses on services 73, 95 and 207 are subject to diversion.

Service 73 and 95 to divert via New Brinsworth Road in both directions between the Catcliffe and The Three Magpies roundabout.

Service 207 to divert via Canklow bridge, Whitehill Lane, around the Howarth estate, back down Whitehill Lane, Bawtry Road (Caravans) & Brinsworth Lane in both directions.

Due to the Sheffield United Women vs Liverpool Football Match taking place on Saturday 22 November 2025, Bramall Lane will be closed and Shoreham Street will be closed between Alderson Road and Charlotte Road Roundabout.

Services in the area will be subject to a diversion.

Services 18, 18a, 73 & MAN4 Services will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Marys in both directions.

Services 18, 18a, 24, 47, 48, 51 & 73 leaving City Centre divert via Furnival Square roundabout, Eyre Street (serving the Fire Station stop) and Bramall Lane roundabout.
