A number of road closures will be in place to ensure the event can take place safely. As a result, bus services will operate on diversion.

Services towards St Helens will divert via King Street West, Wallgate, Library Street, Rodney Street, Millgate and Warrington Lane. Services towards Wigan will divert via Warrington Road, Sovereign Road, Darlington Street, King Street, Wallgate and King Street West. Services will divert between 8am and 12.30pm.

Services towards Bolton will divert via King Street West, Wallgate, Library Street, Rodney Street and Riverway. Services towards Wigan will divert via Riverway, School Lane, Warrington Lane, King Street, Wallgate and King Street West. Services will divert between 8am and 12.30pm.
