As tradition continues in the Isle of Axholme, the Haxey Hood will take place on Tuesday 6th January 2026 between Haxey and Westwoodside, with the road between the villages unofficially closed during the event.

Service 399 will divert between Haxey and Westwoodside via Graizelound for the duration of the event.

Important stop changes:
🚏 Haxey passengers should use the bus stop at The King’s Arms on Haxey Lane. Other Haxey stops will not be served.
🚏 Westwoodside passengers: Stops on Tower Hill and Breathergate will not be served. The nearest available stop will be Commonside.
