From St Helens Bus Station as normal to Parr Street, then via Atlas Street, Standish Street, College Street, Haresfinch Road, Haresfinch View, Green Leach Lane, East Lancashire Road, Stanley Bank Way, Vicarage Road, Clipsley Lane, then as normal route to Ashton (omitting Park Road, Blackbrook Road and West End Road).
From Ashton as normal to Clipsley Lane, then via Vicarage Road, Stanley Bank Way, East Lancashire Road, Green Leach Lane, Haresfinch View, Haresfinch Road, College Street, Standish Street, Atlas Street, Parr Street, then as normal route to St Helens Central Station (omitting West End Road, Blackbrook Road, Park Road and a section of Parr Street).
