Irby Road will be closed, between Thingwall Road and Somerset Road, from Monday 20 July 2026 for approximately 6 weeks.

Service 471 (Arriva)

From Liverpool will travel as normal to Pensby Road, then continue via Pensby Road, Fishers Lane to Irby Road, then as normal route to Heswall Bus Station (omitting Thingwall Road and a section of Irby Road).
This service will call at the stops on Pensby Road, near Barnston Road; and Irby Road, near Fishers Lane.
From Heswall Bus Station will travel as normal to Irby Road, then via Fishers Lane to Pensby Road, then continue via Pensby Road, then as normal route to Liverpool (omitting a section of Irby Road, and Thingwall Road).
This service will call at the stops on Irby Road, opposite Fishers Lane; and Pensby Road, near Arrowe Park Road.
