Elmswood Road between North Mossley Hill Road and Mossley Hill Road will be closed from Monday 9 February 2026 for approximately 11 days.

• From Bootle will be as normal route to Rose Lane, then via Dovedale Road, Queens Drive, Aigburth Vale, Carnatic Road, Victoria Road, Elmswood Road, then as normal route to Aigburth. (Omits a section of Rose Lane and a substantial section of Elmswood Road.
Alternative bus stop: Rose Lane/Rose Brae and Elmswood Road/Mossley Hill Road.

• From Aigburth will be as normal route to Ashfield Road, then via Victoria Road, Carnatic Road, Aigburth Vale, Queens Drive, Dovedale Road, Rose Lane, then as normal route to Bootle. (Omits a substantial section of Elmswood Road and a section of Rose Lane).
Alternative bus stop: Ashfield Road/Elmswood Road and Rose Lane/Reedale Road.

Service 68 (Monday to Friday Journeys which serve Elmswood Road)
