Hornby Road will be closed at Rice Lane on Tuesday 10 February 2026 for 1 night, between 1900 and 0600 the next day.

• From Aigburth/Broadgreen will operate as normal to County Road, then via North Breeze Hill, Breeze Hill, Southport Road to Aintree Road, then as normal routes to Bootle Bus Station (omitting Rice Lane, Hornby Road and a section of Aintree Road).
Alternative bus stops: County Road, Bedford Road - Stop A and Aintree Road, Fernhill Road.
• From Bootle Bus Station will operate as normal to Aintree Road, then via Southport Road, Breeze Hill, North Breeze Hill to County Road, then as normal route to Aigburth Vale (omitting a section of Aintree Road, Hornby Road and Rice Lane).
Alternative bus stops: Aintree Road, Fernhill Road and County Road, opposite Bedford Road, Stop K.

Service 300
• From Southport/Lydiate will operate as normal to Ormskirk Road, Aintree Station, then via Park Lane, Bridle Road, Netherton Way, Bailey Drive, Southport Road to Aintree Road, then as normal route to Liverpool (omitting Warbreck Moor, Rice Lane, Hornby Road and a section of Aintree Road).
Alternative bus stops: Ormskirk Road, Brenka Avenue and Aintree Road, Fernhill Road.
• From Liverpool will operate as normal to Aintree Road, then via Southport Road, Bailey Drive, Netherton Way, Bridle Road, Park Lane to Ormskirk Road, then as normal route to Lydiate/Southport (omitting a section of Aintree Road, Hornby Road, Rice Lane and Warbreck Moor).
Alternative bus stops: Aintree Road, Fernhill Road and Aintree Interchange, Ormskirk Road - Stop B.
