Melling Road will be closed, between Lyncot Road and Greenwich Road, from Monday 24 August 2026 for approximately 3 weeks.

From Walton Park, Cavendish Drive will travel as normal to Walton Vale, then onto Longmoor Lane, then continue via Longmoor Lane, then as normal route to Walton Park, Lavender Way (omitting Warbreck Moor, Melling Road and Seeds Lane).
This service will call at the stops at Orrell Park Interchange, Orrell Lane, near Walton Vale, Stop C; and Longmoor Lane, near Seeds Lane.
From Walton Park, Lavender Way will travel as normal to Longmoor Lane, then continue via Longmoor Lane to Walton Vale, then as normal route to Walton Park, Cavendish Drive (omitting Seeds Lane, Melling Road and Warbreck Moor).
This service will call at the stops on Longmoor Lane, near Seventh Avenue; and Walton Vale, near Grace Road.
