Great Howard Street, at its junction with Cotton Street, will be closed from Thursday 15 October 2026 until further notice.

From Liverpool will be as normal route to King Edward Street, then via Leeds Street, Pall Mall, Chisenhale Street, Vauxhall Road, Commercial Road, Sandhills Lane, Derby Road, then as normal route to Bootle Strand. (Omits Great Howard Street).
Alternative bus stop: King Edward Street, near Great Howard Street and Sandhills Interchange, Derby Road, near Sandhills Lane, stop B.

Dale Street will be closed, between Exchange Street East and Water Street, from 0800 on Sunday 18 October to 2000 on Tuesday 20 October 2026; and from 0800 on Monday 2 November to 2000 on Tuesday 3 November 2026.

Service 136

From Liverpool ONE Bus Station will travel as normal via Moorfields to Dale Street, then via North John Street, Lord Street to James Street, then as normal route to Liverpool ONE Bus Station (omitting a section of Dale Street, Water Street and The Strand).
This service will call at Moorfields, Stop MF.
