Oxford Road, Bootle, will be closed from the junction of the Christ Church Roundabout to the junction of Southport Road on Monday 10th August 2026 until Wednesday 19th August 2026. The closure is expected to be in place for 10 days.

From Bootle Bus Station as normal to Park Street then via Hawthorne Road, Earl Road to Fernhill Road and resume normal route to Bootle, Netherton Way (235) / Aintree Station (135) (omitting part of Hawthorne Road, Oxford Road and part of Fernhill Road).
Alternative stops: Park Street, near Hawthorne Road; and Fernhill Road near Leicester Road.
From Aintree Station (135) and Netherton Way (235) as normal to Fernhill Road then via Earl Road, Hawthorne Road, to Park Street and resume normal routes (omitting part of Fernhill Road, Oxford Road and Hawthorne Road).
Alternative stops: Fernhill Road opposite Somerset Road; and Park Street near Langdale Street.
