Irby Road will be closed, between Thingwall Road and Somerset Road, from Monday 20 July 2026 for approximately 6 weeks.

Service 22/22A

From West Kirby will travel as normal to Mill Hill Road, then via Thingwall Road, Whaley Lane, Pensby Road, Fishers Lane to Irby Road, then as normal route to Chester Bus Interchange (omitting a section of Thingwall Road and a section of Irby Road).
This service will call at the stops on Mill Hill Road, near Seaview Lane; and Irby Road, near Fishers Lane.
From Chester Bus Interchange will travel as normal to Irby Road, then via Fishers Lane, Pensby Road, Whaley Lane, Thingwall Road to Thurstaston Road, then as normal route to West Kirby (omitting a section of Irby Road).
This service will call at the stops on Irby Road, opposite Fishers Lane; and Mill Hill Road, near Manor Road.
