59a - Barnsley Town Centre Barnsley Interchange/A13 - Royston Station Road/Oakwood Road

There will be a temporary no right turn restriction from Old Mill Lane on to Old Tannery Road, allowing traffic to travel in a northbound direction onto Wakefield Road only, the restriction will be in place on an intermittent basis, as and when required for a 5-month period starting on 19th February 2024.

Temporary road closure of Old Mill Lane from Harborough Hill Road to Old Tannery Road for TM set up/TM removal for bridge widening scheme. On 21st April 2024 from 1900 to 0600. (Another night may be needed at a later date).
Buses will be diverted as follows:
• Service 1/11 - Smithies lane, Honeywell Grove, Honeywell Street (both directions)
• Service 57/59 - Towards Barnsley - Old Tannery Road, Wakefield Road, Smithies lane, Honeywell Grove. From Barnsley - Honeywell street, Honeywell Grove, Smithies Lane, Wakefield Road, Burton Road
