From Friday 11 February for up to six months, lane closures will be in place on Manchester Road, Trinity Street and Lower Bridgeman Street. All roads will will operate with one lane.

Delays are expected on services 8, 37, 471, 511 and 524. Please check with the operator before you travel and allow more time for your journey.

From 4 June 2022

To facilitate improvement works, bus stops along Broad Street and Frederick Road will be closed until further notice.

Customer are advised to board the bus at Salford Crescent Station or Salford shopping centre.

John Dalton Street Bus Stop Suspension

From 3 June 2022

From Monday 21 February, bus stop NB0500 John Dalton Street/ Deansgate will be closed until further notice. This is for safety reasons as the carriageway opposite the stop has had to be narrowed to enable major building works to be carried out, meaning that it is unsafe for buses to use this stop. Passengers should use the next or previous stop.

Bus stop suspension: Chapel Street

8 May–4 August 2022

From Monday 9th May until Thursday 4th August 2022, Chapel Street between Blackfriars Road and Victoria Bridge Street will be narrowed to facilitate roadworks. As a result, the bus stop on Victoria Bridge Street will be suspended.

Customers should use the next or previous bus stop.

Customers who use bus services X41 and X43 can use the temporary bus stop along Chapel Street.

The Boulevard, Manchester - Road Closure

23–26 June 2022

The Boulevard at Manchester Royal Infirmary will be closed from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 June between M&S and the Library building for manhole repair works.

18, V1 and V2 services towards Langley will depart from Upper Brook Street and divert via Grafton Street and Oxford Road to resume normal route.

Services towards the MRI will follow normal route to Oxford Road and turn onto Hathersage Road to terminate at the bus stop outside the Boulevard. Services will then make their way to Upper Brook Street to start.
