Speke, adjacent to Western Avenue

Arriva services 81, 166 and 188; and service 168 toward Liverpool South Parkway will not serve Speke Hall Road, from Monday 15 June 2026 until further notice.

Service 81

• From Bootle will be as normal route to Speke Road, then continue via Woodend Avenue, continue onto Western Avenue, then resume normal route to Speke. (Omits Hillfoot Avenue, Speke Hall Road and Speke Boulevard).
Alternative bus stop: Speke Road, near Roskell Road and Western Avenue, near Tarbock Road.

• From Speke as normal to Western Avenue, then continue via Woodend Avenue, Speke Road, then as normal route to Bootle. (Omits Speke Boulevard, Speke Hall Road and Hillfoot Avenue).
Alternative bus stop: Western Avenue, near Bray Road and Hunts Cross Interchange, Speke Road, near Ashton Drive, stop A.

Speke Boulevard (Westbound) and Speke Hall Avenue will be closed, between 2000 and 0600 each night from Wednesday 24 June 2026 for 3 nights; and from Wednesday 1 July 2026 for 3 nights.

Service 3A

Services from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Huyton are unaffected.
From Huyton will travel as normal to Speke Boulevard, then via Western Avenue, Hale Road to Liverpool John Lennon Airport (omitting a section of Speke Boulevard, Speke Road, Estuary Boulevard, Estuary Banks and Speke Hall Avenue).
This service will call at the stop at Morrisons, Stand 1.

Services 80 and 82

From Speke, Morrisons will travel as normal to Central Avenue, then via Western Avenue, Dunlop Road, Speke Hall Avenue, Estuary Banks, Estuary Boulevard to Speke Road, then as normal routes to Liverpool (omitting Speke Boulevard and a section of Speke Road).
These services will call at the stops on Central Avenue, near Lovel Road; and Speke Road, near Estuary Boulevard.

Service X4

Services from Liverpool to Runcorn, Windmill Hill are unaffected.
From Runcorn, Windmill Hill will travel as normal to Speke Boulevard, then via Western Avenue, Dunlop Road, Speke Hall Avenue, Estuary Banks, Estuary Boulevard to Speke Road, then as normal route to Liverpool (omitting a section of Speke Boulevard and a section of Speke Road).
This service will call at the stop on Speke Road, near Crowne Plaza Hotel.
