Road closure on Joseph Locke Way in Crediton

Monday 13 July – Thursday 31 December 2026

From the 13th July 2026 until further notice, Joseph Locke Way will be closed for resurfacing and road reconstruction works. During this time, bus services 5/5A/5B/5C, 369 and 607 will divert via the A377.

The bus stops at Crediton Rail Station and Redlands/Tesco are suspended due to the roadworks on Joseph Locke Way. Please use bus stops on the A377 (near the Tesco Petrol Station) as an alternative.

Bickington Road, Roundswell road works

From Tuesday 25 August 2026

Due to Phase 2 of the Wales & West gas works in Roundswell, buses are unable to serve the eastbound bus stops between Cedars Roundabout and Old Torrington Road/Wrey Arms. Buses will divert via Gratton Way and the bus gate.

Delays are expected as all traffic is on diversion via the Link Road.

Buses cannot serve these stops heading towards Barnstaple due to the partial closure of Bickington Road.
