Road closure on Joseph Locke Way in Crediton
Monday 13 July – Thursday 31 December 2026
From the 13th July 2026 until further notice, Joseph Locke Way will be closed for resurfacing and road reconstruction works. During this time, bus services 5/5A/5B/5C, 369 and 607 will divert via the A377.
The bus stops at Crediton Rail Station and Redlands/Tesco are suspended due to the roadworks on Joseph Locke Way. Please use bus stops on the A377 (near the Tesco Petrol Station) as an alternative.
Reduced evening service due to A377 road closure
18:00 – 05:00, Monday 26 October – Friday 13 November 2026
During overnight closures on the A377, service 5/5A/5B/5C will need to divert. Journeys at 2040 and 2240 from Exeter and 2110, 2310 from Crediton will not run. There is a 5B departing Exeter at 2025 as an alternative.
Service 5 at 2040, 2240 from Exeter and 2110, 2310 from Crediton will not run.
The 2025 5B from Exeter is likely to be delayed due to the length of diversion required.

Please check with your bus operator for more information, as buses may not be stopping in their usual locations.
