Gillmoss, adjacent to Willow Way

Callestock Road and Petherick Road will be closed at the junction of Willow Way from Monday 2 February 2026 for approximately 4 nights, between 1900 and 0600 each night.

Services 14 and 14A
• From Liverpool will operate as normal routes to Croxteth and Kirkby.
• From Croxteth will commence from the temporary bus stop situated on Willow Way adjacent to Parkview Road (opposite bus stop no. 46012A), then operate normal routes to Liverpool (Omits Callestock Close and Petherick Road).
Alternative bus stop: Temporary bus stop on Willow Way, adjacent to Parkview Road.

Service 19 (Evening short journeys to Willow Way, Croxteth)
• From Liverpool will operate as normal route to East Lancashire Road, then terminate service at Gillmoss Bus Depot (Omits Willow Way, Callestock Close and Willow Way).
• From Croxteth will commence from the bus stop situated on East Lancashire Road adjacent to Willow Way (bus stop no. 46012D), then operate as normal route to Liverpool (Omits Callestock Close and Petherick Road).
Alternative bus stop: East Lancashire Road, near Willow Way.

Service 102
• From Aintree University Hospital will operate as normal route to Willow Way, then use the temporary bus stop situated on Willow Way adjacent to Parkview Road (opposite bus stop no. 46012A), then as normal route to Broadgreen Hospital/Page Moss (Omits Callestock Close and Petherick Road).
Alternative bus stop: Temporary bus stop on Willow Way, adjacent to Parkview Road.
• From Broadgreen Hospital as normal route to Aintree University Hospital.

Services 898 and 899 (Due to ongoing works on East Lancashire Road services will follow below diversion, please refer to merseytravel.gov.uk/travel-updates/898-and-899-evening-diversion for details).
• From Page Moss will operate as normal routes to Stonebridge Lane, then via Altcross Road, Moss Way, Middle Way, Willow Way to East Lancashire Road, then resume normal routes to Kirkby (Omits a section of Stonebridge Lane and a section of East Lancashire Road).
Alternative bus stops: Croxteth Hall Lane, near Mace Road and East Lancashire Road, M57.
• Services from Kirkby to Page Moss are unaffected.
